Katie Ulrich is a Certified Holistic Health Coach through the Academy of Healing Nutrition. She aims to elevate her clients through education about the power of a whole foods diet, and help guide them to learn which foods work best for their body and lifestyle. She teaches members to tune in and connect their body and mind. She also holds her 200-hour Yoga Certification from Yandara Yoga Institute.
Katie graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, as a Musical Theater major and worked around the country as an actress for years. In her previous career, she struggled with finding balance and was unaware of how to fuel her body properly for optimum health, which lead to her path as a wellness coach. Her personal first steps to recovery came from finding yoga and cultivating a practice of self love instead of sabotage. She ditched fad diets and restrictions, invested in her kitchen, and learned to listen to what her body was telling her. Intuitive eating allows for occasional indulgences without guilt or fear, as a normal day is loaded with wholesome and healing habits. Balance is key!
Using food as medicine and being your own doctor in the kitchen is a tool Katie feels everyone needs to learn, practice, and cultivate daily. Katie runs her own wellness business, Blissful Kitchen + Life and created a healing cleanse for her clients as a way to heal the gut, hit the reset button, and kickstart a healthier way of life. Outside of her professional life, she spends as much time in nature as possible hiking, skiing, and scuba diving. Nature is also medicine and keeps her connected and grounded.
Healing and nourishing oneself is a lifelong journey that Katie hopes to empower others to embrace with joy, ease, and compassion. She helps to integrate simple habits and shows clients that a healthy lifestyle is delicious, rejuvenating, and fun!
