Meet Savannah Young, a highly passionate Nurse Practitioner with years of experience, training, and certifications in Functional Medicine. Her expertise lies in working with patients to create highly personalized wellness plans that cater to their unique needs and lifestyles. With a holistic approach to care, Savannah understands that physical, mental, and emotional health are all interconnected and equally important.

Savannah’s passion for disease prevention and proactive health began at the College of Public Health at the University of Georgia, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. She later obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University and worked in the Neonatal ICU. During her time as a nurse, Savannah began experiencing gastrointestinal symptoms that didn’t respond to traditional western medicine approaches. This led her to explore Integrative and Functional Medicine, where she discovered the vital importance of investigating and treating the root cause of illness through a comprehensive and individualized approach.

Savannah’s continuous commitment to professional growth led her to enroll in the Institution for Functional Medicine to expand her knowledge and ability to care for her patients. Her approach to care is grounded in treating each patient as a unique puzzle, and she works with them to create a plan that encompasses the many tools of Functional Medicine, mindset, movement, and mental health. She believes patient education and empowerment are essential to optimal health outcomes.

Beyond her work as a Nurse Practitioner, Savannah is a yoga teacher, life coach, avid triathlete, cook, and writer. In 2023, she relocated to Denver from Atlanta to continue her passion for Integrative and Holistic Health alongside a dedicated team at PrimeHealth. With her expertise and commitment to patient-centered care, Savannah is the ideal healthcare provider for those seeking personalized, comprehensive healthcare solutions.
