Experience
Savannah Young is a highly dedicated Nurse Practitioner with years of experience, training, and certifications in Functional Medicine. She excels in working with patients to develop highly personalized wellness plans tailored to their unique needs and lifestyles. Savannah’s holistic approach recognizes that physical, mental, and emotional health are all interconnected and equally important, ensuring comprehensive care for her patients.
Her journey into disease prevention and proactive health began at the College of Public Health at the University of Georgia, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She later obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University and worked in the Neonatal ICU. During her time as a nurse, Savannah began experiencing gastrointestinal symptoms that didn’t respond to traditional Western medicine approaches. This personal experience led her to explore Integrative and Functional Medicine, where she discovered the vital importance of investigating and treating the root cause of illness through a comprehensive and individualized approach.
Savannah’s continuous commitment to professional growth led her to enroll in the Institute for Functional Medicine to expand her knowledge and enhance her ability to care for her patients. She treats each patient as a unique puzzle, working collaboratively to create plans that encompass the many tools of Functional Medicine, mindset coaching, movement, and mental health. She believes that patient education and empowerment are essential to achieving optimal health outcomes.
In 2023, Savannah relocated to Denver from Atlanta to continue her passion for Integrative and Holistic Health alongside a dedicated team at PrimeHealth. With her expertise and commitment to patient-centered care, she provides personalized, comprehensive healthcare solutions to those seeking optimal wellness.
